Ninja Assassin is, simply put, a great movie. It is meant to be watched in a large group, popcorn flowing as the gore and body count reaches epic proportions. It doesn't matter what the film is about, who is in it. None of that matters. Ninja Assassin is a visceral experience. A throwback to the good old fashioned, seat of your pants film making. This is what great, mindless, fun movies are supposed to be.
