Got me, Doonesbury.

Thanks to Go Comics online I have been catching up on many strips including a huge run of Doonesbury. I plan on a blog post discussing this when I'm up to date.
In the meantime, this choked me up;

This is dumb.
And before you spout off all the reasons I shouldn't say a damn thing let me put it this way.
Steve Rogers is Captain America.
Period.
I don't hate it because he's black.
He's not Steve Rogers.
Steve Rogers IS Captain America.
And remember, vote to have Rick Remender fired as quickly as possible.
He is a terrible story teller.

NEW SECRET WARS? YES PLEASE!

 

I always loved the original Secret Wars. The second one...not so much. My favorite thing from the original was all the cool toys. Now we get this and who do I spy between the wings of fake Captain America? Doctor Zero from Marvel's Shadowline Saga. Doctor Zero was my favorite of that series of comics and the off chance that he'll be brought back into the fold and there could well be a actin figure?

Captain Stupid Idea and The Mighty Whatevers

Here's the cover to that abomination hitting comic book stores soon. Not sure when, don't care. If you go to Comic Book Resources they have three unlettered pages as a preview. It shows Falcon/Crap throwing the shield like Steve Rogers would have.

I really can't wait until the new Avengers movie comes out and they are forced to put everything back to normal.
